A few weeks ago I had the opportunity to photograph a truly unforgettable wedding in Sydney city.
As a wedding photographer I’m extremely lucky to be able to travel around Australia and abroad to capture weddings. There is always endless beauty to discover, however, this wedding in Sydney reminds me of how special ‘home’ is..
These two beautiful (and extremely creative) people made their way to Sydney from up the coast to tie the knot. The day kicked-off with excitement in what I would blatantly describe as the most eclectic pad I’ve ever seen. This exquisite building made for some truly beautiful moments to be housed and captured all together.
After an emotional ceremony by the chimneys in Sydney Park, everyone made their way to The-Grounds-Of-Alexandria where the celebrations unfolded. On a side note – The Grounds is definitely a personal favourite venue for a wedding in Sydney city.
Incredible food, music, dancing and a whole lot of laughter made for a superb finale’. To conclude, by the end of the day I felt as though I knew Matt, Lexi and a number of the guests as new-found friends. Although it makes for a difficult goodbye – all in all I couldn’t have been more blessed with this opportunity to document such a real and magical wedding as part of the Folk & Follow collective.
